Water Temperature Gauge Sensor

Introduction
In an internal combustion engine, coolant temperature sensor is used to measure temperature of the engine coolant. It is installed in cylinder block or in water jacket on cylinder cover. There is a thermistor inside the water temp sensor. If coolant temperature is lower, resistance value will be larger, vice versa. Hence, we can measure coolant temperature according to resistance value, and then, we can know whether the motor functions well.
