Introduction
Weichai engine wrist pin is a cylindrical pin installed in piston skirt. It realizes kinetic energy transmission from piston to connection. Our hollow piston pins are made from superior alloy steel, such as No. 20 steel, 20Mn steel, 15Cr steel, 20Cr steel, 20MnV steel, etc.

Process
During production of Weichai engine wrist pins, various processes are implemented, such as rough machining, drilling, carburization, heat treatment, rough cylindrical grinding, accurate cylindrical grinding and magnetic crack inspection. Carburization and polishing make the surface rigid and wear-resistant. Besides, piston pins will have larger impact toughness.

Working Condition
As a part of the transmission device, Weichai engine wrist pin has to receive huge periodic shocks under high temperature. Besides, it has a small pendulum angle. So, high strength, good wear-resistance and small weight are necessary to advance lubrication condition. Apart from this, pin and pin hole should be appropriately matched. Do not use distorted pins in case of damage to gudgeon pin boss.
