Flywheel Ring Gear

Introduction
1. Including WD618 flywheel ring gear, they are starter ring gears which are fitted to the peripheries of flywheels. It transfers torque from starter motor pinions to flywheel so that it drives engine into working. Our flywheel gears are mainly produced by Weichai Power, Sinostruk, Qiangdao Ocean Shipping and Changyi Lichao.
2. WD618 flywheel ring gears are made from No. 45 steel (HB is from 220 to 270) under processes of high-frequency quenching and magnetic flaw detecting. No crackles are allowed during quenching process if the flywheel starter ring gear is of HRC ranging from 48 to 52. Besides, static balance and dynamic balance are tested. Before installment, WD618 flywheel ring gear should be heated to 160 ℃ so that it can be easily pressed onto flywheel.
