Crankshaft Gear
Introduction
Weichai crank gear is applied to adjust position of camshaft so that valves open and close at proper time. It should be accurate in design and operation. Besides, high-temperature work condition requires crankshaft gears to be wear-resistant and erosion-resistant. Common materials for the gears are No.40 steel, No.45 steel, 50Mn steel, 40Cr steel, 40MnB steel, 35SiMn steel, etc.
Advantages
Our Weichai crank gear products are mainly hardened tooth face gears (HB>350). With high rigidity, gear cutting procedure should be conducted before thermal processing. If needed, process like grinding or lapping is conducted after thermal processing. These crankshaft gears have high accuracy (grade 4 to 5), good wear-resistance and anti-erosion property.
