Cylinder Block

Introduction
Cylinder block is the basic structure of the engine and works as an important component. It sits between the cylinder head and the oil pan. In a broad sense, it is an integrity part made up of several engine blocks and a crankcase. 2. The engine blocks are mainly processed at horizontal machining centers. During cylinder block production, only a few procedures are handled at vertical machining centers.
3. Engine block surface is milled in professional way, so is front surface of main bearing seat and bearing fixing groove.
4. Idler shaft, lubrication-oil duct, water cooling channel and fuel filter are drilled by a special driller.
5. Broach is used during processing of cylinder block. It assures accuracy of main bearing seat.
6. Boring cutter is applied to process bores on main bearings, cams and cylinder liners.
